One Piece: Pirate Warriors 2 Is Coming Within 2 Weeks

I originally was going to give some snappy comment about how Namco Bandai do no understand when summer is because they originally say that One Piece: Pirate Warriors 2 was coming out in the summer of 2013 but just gave a release date of September 3.

It is a good thing I held my tongue because technically even though in America the release is September 3rd, in Europe the release date is August 30. You win this time Namco Bandai! You win, this time.

Sony’s Impressive New PlayStation Ad: Greatness Awaits

I completely missed this fantastically crafted commercial for Sony PlayStation. This commercial is not advertising any specific product but more of the entire Sony gaming brand as a whole. A collage of all the experiences a person can find when they are a PlayStation owner.

A Promising Review For Disney Infinity Appears

I mentioned how I bought several figures/toys for the Disney Infinity game already. I just have not bought the game yet. I am waiting for the price to go down. It is ridiculously expensive at the moment. I am pleased to find out that it was not all a waste after watching this very promising review of Disney Infinity.

Color me super excited! I love Sega’s Yakuza game series of which was created by Super Monkey Ball creator Toshihiro Nagoshi. There newest game Yakuza Restoration (Yakuza Ishin) will be coming out later this year… in Japan.

Unfortunilty, in the U.S., Sega has only released up to Yakuza 1-4 and the semi-canon Yakuza Dead Souls game.

Mike Tyson Plays NES Punch-Out!! For First Time Video

I really do not know how to feel about this. First I feel part disgusted that the game I have loved for over 20 years was never played by Mike Tyson. Isn’t there a law about product endorsement where the celebrity has to own or use the product they are endorsing?

Then I laugh because the video of him playing the game is a genuine nostalgic moment of what playing these games in the late 80s/early 90s was like. Lots of excitement, grunting, and pure gaming bliss.

PlayStation 4 Is Out On November 14 & Twitch Supported

So finally the release date for the PlayStation 4 (PS4) is known. November 14, 2013 is when I’ll be a partial owner of a PlayStation 4. More importantly though, Sony did announce that the PlayStation 4 (PS4) will support the insanely popular live video streaming service Twitch. Which is great news since Microsoft’s console was already announced to to that same a few months back. Plus you will be able to upload your own videos from the PlayStation 4 (PS4) to Twitch as well.

Mega Man in Smash Bros Animation

I’m sure I can hear you saying,”Wow, Frankie, you sure are late to the party on this piece of news!” Where I would then respond,”Shut Up! I’ve had other priorities at the time!” But seriously, Mega Man is now in Smash Bros, we all know that and I hope we all are excited about it. However, I cam across this endearing animation tribute to the Mega Man + Smash Bros news (+ their self promotion of their 500th comic). My love of Mega Man combined with the hardships he has suffered through the years caused me to shed a tear at how how much this animation tugged at my heart strings. Also the little nod at the very end was what tipped the hat in why I needed to make mention of this video.

Watch the video after the jump!
